Abstract
In order to study effect of anti-fatty liver corrspounds, normal rats and guinea pigs whose livers were damaged by CCl_(4) were given seven groups of combined medicines i.e.
1) Adenine Xanthine, Potassium Orotate
2) Liver Hydrosate
3) Orotic Acid, dl-Methionine, Inositol
4) ursodesoxy Cholic Acid
5) Thioctic Amide, Thiamine Tetrahydropropyl Disulfide, Liver Hydrosate, Nicotin Amide
6) Thioctic Acid, Choline Orotate, Inositol, dl-Methionine
7) Liver Hydrosate, Cysteine, Choline Bitartarate, Inositol
The results of the blood analyses of the animals for BSP retention, Glutamic oxalacetic transaminase, Glutamic pyruvic Transaminase could be summarized as follows
The anti-fatty liver effect is significant in group (3) & (4) but it is less effective in group (1) (2) & (7).
